The Public Health (Alcohol) Act, 2018

By law, from 22nd May 2026 in Ireland the following information MUST be displayed at the point of sale of all alcoholic beverages:

• grams pure alcohol of the serving (e.g. bottle, magnum, etc);
• energy expressed as Kcal or calories;
• energy expressed as Kilojoules.
